What inspires you to design watch faces?
My passion for watches started back in my youth, and I had a dream to make them more exciting and offer more than just a definition of the time and date. And then it happened! Now I am able to make my own designs and to create faces based on my own vision.
What are some of your hobbies?
I enjoy reading contemporary sciences, technology, computer games and designing smart watch faces which has also become one of my most favorite hobbies for me.

I started my first designs back in July 2017
How many watch faces do you have in your collection right now?
I have around 70 watch face designs for download right now.
Do you have a particular theme you like to create your designs around? If so, what is it?
No, I made all my designs beginning from classic, modern, sport, to fantasy analog or digital or hybrid. I enjoy many different styles and themes.
What are your top most popular and/or most download watch faces in your collection?
My most download watch face is called “ROLMA elegance multi”, it has become a very popular design.
What designs are you working on next and when can we expect to see them?
My next new watch face will be called “ROLMA O3”, it will have a lot of useful features and very stunning visuals.

For now, my focus is on designing watch faces for Samsung.
Watch Face Community
Please talk a little about the watch face community and what makes it interesting/special for you?
The smart watch faces community has been instrumental in spreading of smart watches and the exchange of experiences among its members and has had a positive impact on changing the concept of smart watches. People now are replacing old traditional watches with smart watches and this transition has played a big role in supporting this business and in creating an atmosphere of competition to continually improving upon the designs of the watch faces.
Why should designers consider developing watch faces?
I think a new field for design and development for the wearable devices has has started and the peak is still coming.
What are the common pitfalls you see when designers first start out and how should they avoid them?
I think the key to being successful is patience. Having a basic understanding of programming helps and of course and working hard on your designs.
If you could a new developer one piece of advice, what would it be?
Observe the creations of others designs to get an idea of what works or to inspire you and of course don’t be afraid to learn from others.
Which developers create watch face designs you really like and that inspire you?
I really enjoy the designs of Bergen’s watch faces.
